Cascaparo Market

When you arrive to the city of Cusco, you will find many markets, the best known is the Mercado de San Pedro, but one block away we will find a not so famous market but with a lot of diversity, from vegetables and meats, to offerings for the Pachamama, this is the Cascaparo market, a much more traditional market, we will find the section of meat divided into chickens, beef and pork, then find the section of fruit juices and meals.

We continue walking we will find some steps that will take us to the vegetable section where we can find a section of potatoes, another section of vegetables in general and finally a section where they sell the rocoto, where they sell them already clean to prepare the stuffed rocoto. Leaving through one of the doors we will find sale of products for the offerings to the Pachamama (Mother earth). The Cascaparo market is an interesting place to visit on your trip to Cusco and you can do it before or after your visit to Machupicchu.
