During this cooking class our chefs will tell you more about Peruvian cuisine, ingredients, native products, people, culture, techniques of the Peruvian kitchen, how Peruvians eat, what Peruvians eat, etc. Then we will visit the market, a recreation of the local market with some avant-garde and vintage touches. The class begins by opening the senses with chocolate, ají pepper, herbs, spices, and coffee aromas. From there we sort through the texture of different Andean grains such as kiwicha, quinoa, canihua, etc.The class will continue with a degustation of fruits. Peru is home to different exotic fruits and we will have the opportunity to enjoy the different flavors of the best seasonal fruits.

The first dish that we will prepare is the famous Peruvian Ceviche, using fresh fish and a mix of ingredients that make it unique and unforgettable. After that we can enjoy the national liquor of Peru, learning about its history and ending with the preparation of our own Pisco Sour. To end the cooking class all participants will make their own Lomo Saltado. The chef will prepare the first dish as a demonstration.

  • Classes start at 13:30 and end around 17:30, please don’t have lunch before you come
